Couple’s Therapy
Therapy can bring shattered relationships back together in brand new ways! Your life and your marriage can be better and stronger than it was before.
Before you and your partner close the door forever, you owe it to yourselves, and possibly your children, to give your relationship one more try.
Healthy relationships permeate all aspects of your life. They are vital to a fulfilling lifestyle. But perhaps you and your partner are drifting apart. You may wonder if too much damage is done to save the marriage. You may be experiencing:
- Volatile arguments
- Feelings of distance or emptiness
- Pervasive feelings of anger, betrayal, or resentment, dissatisfaction
- Lack of affection or interest in physicality with one another
Couples therapy can help any couple looking to strengthen their relationship. Whether you suffer from poor communication or are plagued with deep, ongoing conflict, couples counseling can help you achieve your goals.
My Couples Therapy Approach
A healthy relationship can be difficult when underlying psychological problems interfere. Learning how to deal with those problems and learning effective ways to communicate with each other are important to healing your relationship.
Couples therapy can be short-term. You may only need a few sessions to help you weather a crisis. Or you may need therapy for several months, particularly if your relationship has greatly deteriorated.
During couples therapy, I will help you and your partner identify the conflict issues within your relationship. Together we will find the changes that need to take place—both in the relationship, and in the behavior of each partner. Our goal is for each partner to feel satisfied with the relationship.
Some of the areas we will work on include:
- Balancing time & priorities
- Communication issues
- Conflict management

- Intimacy
